RFVHC Trails Committee Working for You!

Great News! Now there is larger and safer trailer parking plus an improved entry to the Fisher Creek BLM area for our trail riders.

This will avoid parking alongside County Road 115, which has been the case since Fisher Creek area was opened. Since CR 115 was paved and vehicle travel increased dramatically.

Parking and saddling our horses directly adjacent to the road had become more dangerous.

Now, because of working together - an alternative!

When parking, please consider those who may arrive after you and park wisely and considerately.

Follow the map to park and ride from there, across the road to the BLM signpost where the new trail descends to the old ranch road below.

Turn right and travel ¼ mile looking left and below for a green gate and BLM

signpost. Through the gate, ride downhill to an old homestead site and by the scrub oak grove you can choose the trail heading left or downhill past the water trough and follow the drainage. Either will reach the main trail in Fisher Creek. Enjoy the trail and vistas!
