Charlie Henderson. Educational Event Chair
My hopes in joining the RFVHC Board of Directors is to promote the good works that the Horse Council is doing to preserve our western heritage in the Roaring Fork Valley. I hope to promote the riders, too, so they will experience the love we have for riding in this valley and to experience a true connection with nature and their fellow riders.
We have such a wide range of disciplines in this valley and it’s our job to help promote equestrian life as a quintessential part of our community. As experienced horsewomen and men, we hope to pass this passion and love of horses on to our youth and for generations to come.
This is Apple.
Born in South Africa, Chantal first started coming to Aspen in
2002 where she fell in love with the lifestyle. Twelve years later
she finally made the dream of living in Aspen a reality. Relocating
from New York City bringing with her a wealth of experience in the
wellness real estate industry, she set about starting a luxury
concierge business, Aspen Luxury Concierge and immersed
herself in a full-service real estate and hospitality career.
She has owned properties in Aspen, Snowmass and Carbondale which
has given her proven insight into the purchase process in the
valley. From her days running her concierge business she earned
the reputation of being very personable, action and performance
oriented, organized, and persistent. She has built strong
relationships with many vendors and colleagues in the valley and
prides herself on her integrity and helping others succeed. Always
creative and enthusiastic, she is quick to solve problems. And
making rabbits jump out of hats.
Being a life-long equestrian, Chantal – or Charlie as many locals
call her, has extensive knowledge of ranches and barns on the
Roaring Fork Valley and she sits on the board of the Roaring Fork
Valley Horse Council and the Snowmass Heritage Foundation
that runs the Snowmass Rodeo. In addition to being a Resort and
Second Home Specialist and recognized as a Rental Specialist,
she has recently earned the distinction of becoming a Transitional
Land Specialist with the Realtor Land Institute, providing expert
knowledge in ranch and agricultural properties.
She is also a qualified and licensed horse appraiser. When she isn’t working,
you will find her on the ranch riding her horse Apple or enjoying
skiing, hiking, biking with her partner, Mark and spending time
with her two adult children, Grayson and McKenna.
Testimonial:
I have known Chantal for many years. She has been a committed and dedicated member of our horse community at the ranch. Her commitment to horsemanship and her career has been great to watch over the years. She knows her ranches in this valley and you would enjoy her professionalism and working with her !
